strength by nature!

You are looking for a wooden post, that is hard, tough and at the same time elastic and more durable than oak and needs no chemical treatment?
Our answer to this questions is clear: That's why we use PATURA Robinia Posts!

The wood of the robinia is convincing in many areas due to its diverse properties. Wherever stability and durability are required, robinia shows its strengths to the full.
Originally from North America, the Robinia (Robinia pseudoacacia) has been native to Europe for several centuries. The wood is characterised by its good strength values, which are significantly higher than those of oak. At the same time, it has a very high load-bearing capacity under dynamic strain. In addition, the heartwood has a high natural resistance to fungi and insects.

Robinia Corner Post

Posts at the beginning and corners of a fence, as well as in curves and at gates, have the role of absorbing the tension in the fence, and supporting it with respect to the ground. At corners and gates solid posts should be used, they are the main component for a durable and longlasting electric fening system. For this reason we offer a 10 years warranty on the quality of our Robinia Posts for corners and angles.
For smaller changes of direction the Robinia curve posts are an ideal-fit.

  • Ø 13 - 15 cm
  • Chamfered

Product reference

Various environmental influences, including humidity and dryness, can result in constant changes in robinia wood: when humidity is high, the wood absorbs water from the environment and swells; when it is dry, it releases moisture and contracts - so-called dry cracks form. These do not affect the stability or lifespan of the posts. The slightly yellow-greenish colour that fresh robinia posts initially exhibit can change after a relatively short time due to UV light and moisture. The resulting silver-grey patina is characteristic of robinia posts and forms a natural protective layer. These typical shape and colour characteristics as well as the natural, curved shapes of the robinia posts are an unavoidable unique selling point and give the posts a special individuality. They make the posts visually attractive, create a rustic look and are not a reason for complaint.
