The wood of the robinia is convincing in many areas due to its diverse properties. Wherever stability and durability are required, robinia shows its strengths to the full.
Originally from North America, the Robinia (Robinia pseudoacacia) has been native to Europe for several centuries. The wood is characterised by its good strength values, which are significantly higher than those of oak. At the same time, it has a very high load-bearing capacity under dynamic strain. In addition, the heartwood has a high natural resistance to fungi and insects.

Posts at the beginning and corners of a fence, as well as in curves and at gates, have the role of absorbing the tension in the fence, and supporting it with respect to the ground.
