Optimal daily gain through supplementary feeding

Optimum fattening weights in the shortest possible time with optimum carcass quality can only be achieved by giving the lambs targeted concentrate feed. The width of the feed openings is continuously adjustable. It can thus be optimally adapted to the size of the lambs. The ewes have no possibility to reach the concentrated feed. A wide roof overhang with rain gutter prevents moistening of the feed. The adjustable feed openings are fixed in their basic position by a spring. Should a lamb have difficulty pulling its head out again, the vertical round tubes give way and the lamb can retreat.
