Optimum conductivity thanks to high aluminum content
The PATURA high voltage cable Alu has a 2.5 mm thick steel wire core, which is coated with highly conductive aluminum. An inner as well as an outer insulation provide best insulating properties and make this cable ideal for use with long fence and earth supply lines.
For energisers with more than 5 joules of power, it is generally recommended to use the high voltage aluminum cable to fully utilise the power of the device.

Never (except when monitoring the gate with an alarm system) continue the current through the pasture fence gate itself to the other side.
The current should always be continued via a high-voltage cable that runs underground and is connected on both sides of the gate.
Practical tip
Principally, for the PATURA P8000 Tornado Power, we recommend the use of high voltage aluminum cable 2.7 mm.
