PATURA Calving Alert Set - Do not miss the calving anymore
The PATURA calving alert system reliably reports when calving starts. The system analyses the typical movements of the cow's tail when the contractions start. The calving alert will call up to 5 phone numbers until the call is confirmed. The alert will be early enough to allow sufficient time for birth preparations.
How does the system function?
A few days before calving starts, a transmitter is attached to the cow’s tail. It continually reports on the position of the tail.
The receiver analyses the reports and, when the typical movement for contractions has been detected, notifies optionally via landline or mobile phone about the start of calving.
